What's Your Problem: The Shaping Sessions
It’s now time to for our next phase of the What’s Your Problem Programme, our Shaping Sessions. This is made up of a series of three events all of which offer the opportunity for more matchmaking, bringing idea-generators together with those closest to the challenges to build project teams around the bits of the problems they’re most interested in.

The Data Shaping Session
How data can help you improve the design of your product or service?
As the Civic Data Cooperative, we fully understand and value the importance of data in service and product design – we believe its critical success. For that reason, its a key part of our evaluation process, as we decide which ideas to fund for 2023.
Join Gary Leeming, Director of Civic Data Coop to learn more about what data can do for your ideas, how you can tie it into your proposal and how you can make the most of the value it brings. We’ll also hear more on how data has been applied successfully in other parts of the country and world on similar problems to the ones we’re looking at this year.

The Experts Shaping Session
Engage with a curated panel of problem experts to understand what they (and their patients and users) need from the products and services you design, what else has happened since the Problem Pick Up Event, and some visioning on where your idea could take the sector, and your organisation in the future.

The Social Shaping Session
Meet with problem experts, others looking to pitch and the organisers (the Civic Data Cooperative and Capacity team) for an informal in-person chat. Discuss ideas, find opportunities and make connections with other people interested in the 2023 programme.
We’ll also be joined by a selection of LCR with business support organisations who can share what they have on offer to support you and your idea now and into the future.
